Borough of Stonington
Stonington Ct
NOTIC
To:Borough Residents
From the Board of Warden and Burgesses
Subjest:Stonington Commons
Date:April 8,2004
In response to Borough residents' concerns about noise at the Stonington
Commons Construction site, the property managers are taking the
FOLLOWING STEPS:
1.They have notified all their trucking companies that there are to be
no TRUCKS in the Borough before 7:30 A.M.
2. They have leased an area at the Town's Public Works Department and
well install a sign for the trucks that arrive
at night or early morning.
3. They are keeping the construction gates closed until 7:00 am so
workers can not begin work earlier.
4. They have contacted the police department and asked for their
assistance in enforcing the noise ordinances by
issuing tickets to those who break the
rules.
Paxton Kinol of ADK Properties LLC hopes that these actions will help
reduce early morning noise problems and apologizes for
any Inconvenience.
